A few days ago I finally got the Tom Clancy classic The Hunt For Red October. The book revolves around the first Russian nuclear sub named The Red October. This new weapon of the USSR is being searched for by the U.S. and another Russian submarine in attempts to stop nuclear war. The Red October is captianed by Marko Ramius and Ivan Putin. Ramius attempts to defect to the soviet union meaning that he attempts to join the soviet union. Ramius gains enough trust as an officer and I appointed as one of the captains of the Red October along with politocal leader Ivan Putin. On the Red October Ramius kills Putin in fears that he might interfere with the defection. Meanwhile the USS Dallas attempts to intercept and destroy the Red October to prevent nuclear war. On the other side is another Russian sub attempting to stop what they think is a US sub which is really the Red October.
The book is filled with twists and tense moments that might only work if the job is done correctly. So if you want a moderately confusing book that has the right amount of action and adventure this is it. ******** 8/10 would read
